Scouts BSA exists to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the scout oath and scout law. Your support will help these kids continue their journey as scouts and as future stewards of our great country. Troop 21 and 22 are looking to proudly represent Brentwood at Philmont Scout Ranch with your help.

In keeping with the scout spirit, we expect our scouts to “earn their way” on this awesome trip. Our crews are offering a subscription to a flag route to members of the community. The cost is $100 and a scout will install a flag in your yard on the following holidays:
Memorial Day
Flag Day
4th of July
September 11th
Veterans Day
This is essentially $20/holiday to have an American flag put up prior to the holiday and taken down after. The flag will be 3’ X 5’ and will be installed in your yard! This is an awesome opportunity to show your patriotism in the community and support local scouts!

Troop 21 and 22 are raising money to attend Philmont Scout Ranch in the summer of 2023!
Philmont is the largest high adventure base in the United States and is fully owned and operated by Boy Scouts of America. Located in northeast corner of New Mexico the ranch consists of over 140,000 acres of rugged wilderness and backcountry trails. A trip to Philmont is widely considered the pinnacle of the Scouts BSA experience and has been a rite of passage for scouts since the ranch was established in 1938. Our troop currently has one full crew signed up to attend Philmont in 2023!
